Affiliate Disclosure
SokoJin is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
What that actually means
When a SokoJin guide recommends a replacement part or tool and you click through to Amazon and buy it (or anything else, in some cases), Amazon pays us a small percentage. It doesn't cost you anything extra. The price is the same as if you'd searched Amazon directly.
How we keep recommendations honest
- We only link to parts we'd actually use. If a $7 part fixes your dishwasher, we link the $7 part — not the $45 alternative with a higher commission.
- We tell you what to look for, not just which model to buy. Every parts list includes the spec (e.g., "thermal fuse, 250V, 15A") so you can substitute a non-Amazon source if you'd rather.
- If a part isn't right for your model, the guide says so. We'd rather lose the commission than waste your money on a return.
Other affiliates
Where it makes sense, we may also link to manufacturer parts stores, iFixit, or other suppliers. If those links are affiliate links, they'll be marked the same way Amazon links are, and the same standards apply.
Why we do this
SokoJin is a small, independent project. Affiliate commissions fund the AI API bills that keep Jin running while we're still pre-revenue. Eventually we hope the app itself is the business. But until then, a few cents on a $14 part keeps the lights on.
